Under the provisions of No Child Left Behind, section 1116(e), families in Castle Rock School District with qualifying elementary school students can enroll their child in supplemental educational services.
The term "supplemental educational services" refers to free extra academic help, such as tutoring or remedial help provided to students in subjects such as reading, language arts, and math. Supplemental Educational Services may be offered by private-sector providers that are approved by the state. The providers may be either nonprofit or for-profit organizations. Parents of eligible children can choose from the list of state-approved providers.
