Due to the extreme dangerous walking conditions, the possibility of exposure to freezing, wet weather, or vehicles losing control and colliding with children, Castle Rock School District asks that no child walk unattended (without adult supervision) to or from their snow route pickup and drop off location.

It is the parent's/guardian's responsibility to safely transport their child to and from their snow route pickup and drop off location.

Due to our large service area with varying elevations and weather conditions, it may be necessary to call snow routes on particular routes rather than all routes. Please listen closely to your radios.

We would appreciate it if you would not contact the school or bus garage as we could get overloaded with calls and will need to have those lines open. Listen to the radio or television stations listed below for information. They will be contacted by 5:00 a.m. with snow closure or delay information.
