Leave in plenty of time to get to your bus stop. If you rush, you may forget to follow traffic safety rules. |

Keep your hand on the rail both climbing on and off the bus so you don't trip on the steps. |

If you miss your bus, don't run after it! |

Find a seat and sit down immediately. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. |

Always talk and laugh quietly with your friends on the bus. Do not shout; it distracts your bus driver. |

Keep food and drinks in your backpack or lunch bag. |

Never open a window without the bus driver's permission. Don't put your head, arms, papers or anything out the window. |

If you drop something near your bus, don't pick it up. Your driver may not be able to see you. Ask the driver for help. |

If you have to cross the street, wait until your dirver lets you know it's OK. Always cross in front of the bus where the driver can see you, never behind the bus. |
