Special Services
Our work
Our special education staff is committed to providing services that develop academic and life skills to help each student become a successful adult and live a productive, satisfying life.
Every exceptional child is unique and individual, so each education plan is individual, too. Each student is guided through an individualized educational program designed to provide the services to meet his or her progress goals. The child’s individual education plan (IEP) is the written document describing the student’s skills and needs, educational work plan for each year, appropriate educational placement, and level and type of services the school district will provide to meet the student’s needs.
Specific questions about the type and extend of services Castle Rock Schools offers to exceptional students are best answered on an individual basis, based on the needs of each child.
